MORE ABOUT THE JOB

NED's Mindset Mission is a fun, dynamic 45 minute school assembly for elementary aged students that employs yo-yo tricks, magic, comedy, visuals, and storytelling to inspire kids with NED's message: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best.

This is a one-person show and each performer will receive multiple weeks of training before "going solo" and performing shows in elementary schools.

Full-Time

We are currently looking for full-time Performers. This is a salaried position (full-time performers usually see 10 schools a week…2 per day). We offer great benefits including medical insurance and a 401k. Base salary is $40,000 - $50,000/yr depending on location. Plus $10,000 - $20,000/yr potential through various bonuses.

Our most successful Performers love kids, are funny, love to entertain, and are business-minded. Applicants must be experienced and excellent at performing for kids.

Travel

Performers will do shows in-person at elementary schools on various tours and in their local area as well. The amount of travel varies depending on the place to which we locate you. Positions range from full-time touring Performers who travel most of the year… to Performers located in large cities where they tour one week a month during the school year and internationally during the summer. Depending on where the applicant lives, they may be able to perform shows in their current area, or they may need to relocate.

All For KIDZ covers ALL travel costs (airfare, hotel, rental car, per diem, etc.) and reimburses for mileage driven in your own car.

Paid Time Off

Performers receive up to 3 weeks of paid vacation each year and 2 weeks of training annually.

Additional Skills

Most of our Performers did not know how to yo-yo when they applied. Should you advance through our audition process, you will need to show a basic proficiency and a desire to learn, all of which we will assist you in achieving proficiency.

When Performing in schools, you will be your own stage manager. You will cart, set up and tear down the performance set. You will adjust sound levels and do a sound check. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

See below for details on how to apply.

APPLY

To further pursue this opportunity, please fill out this online application which includes a short 2-3 minute video audition consisting of:

1) Telling us about a fun and funny "adventure" you experienced and what you learned along the way. Imagine you are talking to a group of 4th grade kids and bear in mind that we talk to kids as our friends/peers.

2) Above all, we are looking for authentic people who can be themselves on stage.

3) For this video, look straight at the camera, be yourself and have fun!
(And remember your audience.)

You will be notified when your application is received. If we choose to move you forward in our process, someone from our staff will contact you by phone and answer any questions you have.

Let the adventure begin!
